   Respite Care - Provides periodic relief for the family or primary caregiver. This service may be provided in the individualâ??s home or in the out-of-home setting.

   Residential Supports - The intent of this service is to meet the habilitation and personal care needs of individuals living in licensed residential settings or unlicensed alternative family living homes.

   Personal Care - This service includes support, supervision and engaging participation with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and other activities of daily living. This service may include assistance with preparation of meals, but does not include the cost of the meals themselves.

   Home and Community Supports - This service is to meet the habilitation and support needs of individuals living in their own home or their familyâ??s home. This service provides instruction and assistance to enable the individual to acquire and maintain skills that will allow him/her to function with greater independence in the community.

   Day Supports - This service provides expertise, training, and technical assistance in a specialty area (psychology, behavioral analysis, therapeutic recreation, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or nutrition) to assist family members, caregivers, and other direct service employees in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities who have long term habilitative treatment needs.

   Specialized Consultative Services - This service provides expertise, training, and technical assistance in a specialty area (psychology, behavioral analysis, therapeutic recreation, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or nutrition) to assist family members, caregivers, and other direct service employees in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities who have long term habilitative treatment needs.

   Supported Employment - This service consist of paid employment for persons for whom competitive employment at or above the minimum wage is unlikely, and who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to perform in a work setting.

   Individual/Caregiver Training and Education - This service includes training and counseling services for the individual and or family members of the individual. The purpose of this service is to enhance the decision making capacity of the family unit, provide orientation regarding the nature and impact of the developmental disability upon the individual and his/her family, provide information about community integration options and strategies, provide education and training on intervention strategies, and provide education and training on the use of specialized equipment and supplies.
